* Lifespan of the heat pad? how many rated hours?

We provide 3 years warranty in commercial, Heat pad normally can last 5 years 20000 hours, average 10 hours per day, 5 years in average lifespan.

* Have you sold into hotel or commercial applications before?

Yes, most heat pads and backlit mirrors are used in hotel projects

* How long can the heat pad run continuous at a time? If the heat pad is wired the way the factory normally suggest to wire together with the switch, is there any temperature monitoring or modulation in the operation of the heat pad?

Heat pads transfer electricity to heat and conduct heat to mirror surface, after starts temperature rise up, in 3-5 minutes temperature becomes 15-20 degree higher than environment temperature then heat pad maintains constant temperature. For example if room is 20 degree, heat pad temperature becomes around 35-40 degree then it will stay constant. Since the temperature is constant, there is no need for monitor or modulation. Our heat pad material is PET, which can resist high temperature with softening point 180 degree and melt point 260 degree. So there is no limit to continuous run in heat pad itself but it keeps creating heat, so normally it’s controlled by switch to avoid continuous run.

* What thickness mirror can the heat pad be used on?

5mm thick mirror is standard; heat pad can be used for 5- 6mm.

* Is it likley to damage the heatpad or crack the mirror?

Normally heat pad and mirror surface are very stable no crack issues, just pay below attentions for safety:

* When heat pad is working it expands with heat, please leave margin 50mm each side of mirror to prepare for the expansion.

* Make sure no holes on mirror or heat pad to avoid crack risks

* Use acrylic free neutral adhesive/glass cement to avoid corrode plating layer on mirror.
